I know that the CSP Princes had a lot of ideas for tournaments in November. So I thought I would ask if it would be a good idea for me to run a constructed tournament at the Guardtower on Sunday 11/15.
Also, I'm considering a 3pm start time for that 2r+f tournament. Does anyone feel strongly for or against that start time?

Personally I have had plans for that date for about 6 weeks now (non-V:TES related) and that would mean there would be 3 of us absent (me, Jenn, and our friend Jon). However, I am sure you will have a good turnout either way. I was thinking of doing a tournament probably the weekend after (20th or 22nd?).
That is my 2 cents.

Jay, I can prob make this one, hopefully with a buddy or 2, barring horrendous snow, heheh. Would you consider a 2PM start? The first 2 rounds would be done around 6PM which might be a perfect time for a brief break for those that need some grub before diving into the final... plus if its any of us out of towners in the final, we'd be headed back home an hour earlier (8ish rather than 9ish). Just a thought for we who work in the morning but still want some great VTES competition...

I'm not completely sure yet, but 11/15 is probably not going to work for me.

I just requested sanctioning to hold a tournament at the Guardtower on Sunday 11/15. It'll start at 2pm, 2r+f, constructed, multi-judge, free. Those of you who can't attend, please stay tuned to this forum for other tournaments in the near future.

Jay, I'm working on my Erie VTES buddies right now (2+ weeks notice is plenty notice) but even if I have to come alone, I'm planning on making down there for this one. Thanks for hosting; I'm sure it will be a good time.

why not run a limited. every once and a while it is fun. it has been a while since the last one. run a kot or 3rd or something, but not ek... that sounds fun and gives us a chance to get some limited ratings.

2) I had heard the CSP Princes toss around several ideas about limited events for this Fall. I'll be on the look out for limited events at CSP, and I may run a limited event once the next set becomes legal for (limited) play. Pre-release events do not count toward Limited ratings points.
